We have a strict 24 hour cancelation policy. If you need to reschedule your appointment please do so 24 hours or more in advance to avoid being charged for the full cost of your session. We do not like charging people for services they do not receive. However, we must enforce this policy due to having many clients that request appointment times and cannot have them due to someone else holding that spot. We are very flexible in rescheduling when done in advance. Thank you for your understanding. We send text appointment reminders 48hrs in advance as a courtesy to our clients.
We do not accept insurance. You may be eligible for 'out of network' reimbursement through your insurance company for our services. Please contact us for a list of questions to ask your insurance company and the provider information sheet to give to your insurance company. We also highly recommend using an app called: Better. Better handles all your insurance reimbursement for you, by simply taking a photo of your insurance card and receipt we provide you, they do the rest.
By not using insurance you're benefiting from extra security, discretion, and confidentiality. There is no need for a mental health diagnosis, extensive treatment notes, or any personal information to be shared with a third party. As a private self pay practice we go above and beyond to protect your health information and use discretion. All of our emails are encrypted and secure. Our tele-health video technology is completely protected with encryption and HIIPA compliant as well.
